Molas
can be fashioned into a myriad of different and unique gifts.
In addition to their fine threadwork, the Kuna women also
do exceptional beadwork, as, in their culture, it is traditional
for the women to cover their legs and arms with beadwork.
When
visiting Marlis, one can choose between handbags, eyeglass
holders, wall decorations, cell phone cases, pot holders,
BBQ mittens, change-purses, and beaded necklaces. Molas
can also be made into T-shirts, vests, shirts, blouses,
or bermudas. Shown below are just a few of the items available.
Remember each item is unique and different.
